Ive spent a couple of nights sleeping in the camper on the shores of Wastwater and can testify to the utter peace and quiet, bda - til about 6am when a gaggle of motorists having driven overnight from afar zoom up the valley to start their walking days at Wasdale Head before the crowds that destroy the peace later on.
