Ah! so you didn't spot the big pile of shit on the decking, the picture does tell a good story, the garden ain't perfect but we love it's rough edges and we sit (I said sit) out there as often as possible.

You have very good taste, watch the Robins they grow quite big but if you cut the tops out they go bright red.

I have always loved the red robins and have one in my back garden. It grew very tall and was disappointingly not so very red. I think it had been drowned out by the ceanothus (blue flowering bush) we have. Anyway we recently decided to hedge the front garden with the red robins and now that you have told me that, I shall keep cutting the tops out. Thanks matey. That bright, cheery red of their leaves really makes me smile.
